I’m Carolyn Silas-Sams, the proud owner of Carolyn’s Creole Kitchen. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

From my earliest memories, my incredible mother was always cooking delicious meals, and good food has always been a massive part of my life. From the time I was nine years old, I discovered a passion for cooking. 

Today I have 18 years of professional catering experience and specialize in “real” from-scratch cooking, which without a doubt, will not disappoint.

Much has changed in the nearly two decades I have been in the food industry. From equipment and food production practices to ways to get the word out there, the catering business has become more efficient and increasingly competitive.

I love what I do and would not change careers for anything in the world. I love meeting new people, discovering new dishes, and hearing compliments about my food. My business philosophy is always to do my best no matter the scale of the meal or client background. 

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my commitment to treating everyone, including my staff, like family.

I attribute my success to my mom, who taught me and gave me a love for cooking.

The many special birthdays and anniversaries that I have been honored to prepare have given me immense satisfaction over the years.

I have a few different hobbies and interests when I am not at work. However, I most enjoy watching old movies and TV shows.

I also believe in giving back to society and, as part of that belief, contribute to organizations helping seniors and children.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
