What Makes Carolyn’s Creole Kitchen Stand Out
Thanks for stopping by our blog. If you’re looking for more information about Carolyn’s Creole Kitchen, you’ve come to the right place.
About Carolyn’s Creole Kitchen
We are a mobile soul food catering unit in Oakland, California, that specializes in serving authentic Creole dishes. We began operations after our founder was attempting to keep her four children in Catholic Schools by serving up her mother’s mouth-watering recipes.
She managed to achieve her endeavor, and over the last fifteen years has grown the enterprise by hiring a team of fifteen enthusiastic members. They work several hours during the week and even on weekends to fulfill orders.
We cater to clients across Oakland, Emeryville, Richmond, San Francisco, and Berkeley.
The Carolyn’s Creole Kitchen Difference
One aspect that makes us second to none is that we render service with a smile and offer tastings in advance. Most people are surprised to get an opportunity to sample dishes before they purchase, but we believe in customer satisfaction.
What sets us apart from the rest of our competitors is that we cook all the food from scratch and use only fresh ingredients in the preparation, which ensures that our seasoned recipes are hygienic and taste delicious.
We always maintain consistency, which has won us plenty of admirers, and it’s rewarding when our guests share the Duhon family menu with friends, which has earned us a stellar reputation.
One of our most significant achievements has been when we got the opportunity to become a vendor at Super Bowl 50. Our culinary skills have also received reward and recognition, and we are proud to have scooped the Best Caterer Award in 2019 from Emeryville, CA, in the category Best Gumbo from Alameda County State Fair.
Our dream for the future is to purchase a state-of-the-art mobile truck so that we can meet and greet even more foodies and serve our food at pop-ups and other family-orientated events.
While we are passionate about what we do, we also care about protecting the environment, so we recycle glass and cans and try to always use combustible products, instead of styrofoam.
We also believe in giving back to society, and as part of that belief, we donate to groups that feed the homeless.
